College students get involved in sitcom filming

WESTON College students are among the host of crew members busy creating the new Sky sitcom The Café.

Crews began filming for the show on Weston’s seafront last Monday and a group of college students are also hard at work in a variety of roles.

Corry Raymond, aged 18 of Weston, is an assistant editor, Rachel Philp, aged 18, of Hutton and Ceejay Fulmar, aged 19, have been recruited as assistant directors.

Meanwhile Charlotte Falber, aged 19, of Burnham, will work alongside the show’s art department and Cathrine Disney, aged 19, of Weston, will be helping in the costume department.

Filming is set to continue until the end of August.
