A North Somerset youth club took part in a ‘fantastic’ activity day earlier this month, with children trying their hand at a range of new skills.

Congresbury Youth Partnership (CYP) visited the Cotswold Country Park and Beach earlier this month with explorer Benjamin Peters.

CYP tried various activities around the park, including an obstacle course and paddle-boarding session with world-class paddle-boarder Charlie Head.

Youth Worker Michelle Davis said: “The children and young people have had a fantastic day and really enjoyed the time at the park. Our thanks go to Ben, Charlie and the park for providing them with this special and highly-recommended experience.”

Park general manager Richard Strickland said: “It was a real pleasure to have the children from CYP visit us.

“Our focus is making sure all visitors to the park have a fantastic time and seeing the children from CYP so happy really made my day.”
