Digging out the dinosaur clues

THERE was a big surprise in store for reception year children at St Georges Primary School when they returned to class after the holidays – a mysterious giant egg.

Isla thought it was an ostrich egg because ‘it is big and ostriches are big’, while Riley thought it was a dragon egg and Mark suggested it might be a dinosaur egg.

The children have been busy measuring the mystery egg as well as comparing it in size to hen’s eggs. They are hoping to soon discover what is inside – this term’s topic of ‘A Dinosaur Dig’ might be a clue….
