Year nine pupils have been taking part in an Enterprise Challenge set back in October.
The winning team from each tutor group pitched a business idea to a visiting team of businessmen and women.
Anne O’Neill and Alisha Maqsood from The AA Team came first with their sensor for the blind.
Razzle Dazzle Kidz Creations, Katie Moore, Georgia Micklewright, Abigail Chilcott and Gemma Tozer took second place with their lunch pad.
Both teams will represent the school at the Enterprise 4U event at the Winter Gardens in March.
