SOME ingenious inventions were on show at a school event featuring hundreds of projects.
Worle Community School’s year eight students held their annual science fair and all their designs were put on display.
About 300 pupils took part in researching and carrying out their own investigations or made a construction to explain an aspect of science that interests them.
The top prizes winners were Sam Stephens, Ellen Russ, James Mainwaring, Georgia Payne and Harriet Symons, who all received a silver cup
