STUDENTS got sizzling and joined 600 people for a fajita fiesta.
The cookathon on April 5 was organised by the learning mentors at Bournville Primary School in the hope of beating last year’s award-winning attempt.
Pupils designed authentic hats, flags, masks and piatas for the fiesta, and then joined residents and business owners in cooking up a mouth watering feast.
The school thanked Asda, Riverford Organic Vegetables and Havercroft Butchers for donating food for the fiesta.
