FAMILIES put on aprons and chefs hats at a community cookery session for children held over the weekend.
Twelve adults and kids attended the two-hour workshop at Yatton Moor Children’s Centre in which kids made soup and baked bread.
Sarah Lane, family support worker at the centre, said it was important to spread the message of healthy eating to kids at an early age.
And now the centre is making plans for its Christmas stay and play session at Court de Wyck Primary School on December 22.
