SHIPHAM First School’s green club have enjoyed a series of farm visits at Lower Stock Farm in Langford.

The farm is run by Nick Baker who showed the children his vegetable garden and greenhouse.

Nick also gave them advice and tips for their own vegetable garden at the school.

He also talked to them about arable farming and took them for a tractor ride looking at his crops of wheat.

The children also toured round the village of Wrington.

The highlight of the visits saw the children getting a close look at a grass snake.
