A GROUP of Weston students have been nominated for a film award.

Mia Tulip, Erin Driscoll and Lisa Williamson from Hans Price Academy produced a film called Should We Drop Our Litter?

It has now been entered into the Key Stage Three NOSCARS film festival for primary, secondary and special schools.

They will be attending a ceremony on the Grand Pier to find out if they have won.

Mike Jay, programme leader for design and technology, said: “We are immensely proud of these students, it is a major achievement just to be nominated.

“We wish them good luck and we hope they do well.”
