PUPILS enjoyed their first lessons in a new preschool building in Lympsham.
After six years of fund-raising and applying for funding youngsters moved from their shared site at the Victorian Manor Hall to their own purpose-built building.
The new site means that both morning and afternoon sessions can be held and a before and after school club will be launched next month.
An official grand opening ceremony will be held on March 28 from 2-4pm, when Somerset County councillor Alan Ham will cut the ribbon. There will be a whole host of festivities for the children based on a teddy bear theme.
