FISHY wind vanes were created during a workshop with artist David Kemp.
The sculptor is currently making a public piece of artwork at the end of Windwhistle Lane on the Bournville estate.
He went to Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College to make wind vanes as the nearby rhynes were once part of a sea bed. David hoped the project would remind students of the area's history and that perhaps one day the rhynes could become part of the sea once more.
Students made a series of multi-coloured fish on sticks which will blow in the wind.
