Flour babies at Walliscote Primary School

CHILDREN were taught the importance of being responsible during a project where they looked after babies – but the makeshift infants were made of flour.
The year five and six pupils at Walliscote Primary School had to take care of the unusual ‘babies’ during a science topic on life choices.
The flour babies had to be nurtured like a real child, so the pupils had to make sure their charges were watched over.
Some creative youngsters dressed theirs in doll’s clothes and added faces.
