YEAR seven pupils at Broadoak Mathematics and Computing College were treated to free books through a scheme designed to instil a love of literature in youngsters.
The Weston school has participated in the Booked Up programme for the past four years, and offers students the book of their choice from a range of 19 titles.
A spokesman said: “This excellent opportunity encourages year seven students to read independently, as well as promoting reading for pleasure.”
