PUPPET making and cooking are among a wide variety of activities that pupils are trying their hand at.

Once a week for six weeks children will be engaging in a ‘learning college workshop’.

From a list of 14 options including karate, photography, science, animation and jewellery making to collage, sewing, and music and songs led by a specialist music teacher, students can choose their top activity to enjoy.

The courses, for the whole school, were developed from children’s ideas and aim to offer new experiences and the chance to study something in depth over six weeks.

The school hopes to run another lot of sessions in term six but this is yet to be confirmed.
