STUDENTS celebrated the end of an era in style last week.
From Rolls Royce cars and double-decker buses to shopping trolleys, a boat and a tank, pupils from Churchill Community School arrived at their year 11 leaving ball in varying wild and wacky ways.
The smartly dressed teenagers donned bow ties and long sweeping ball dresses before meeting at the school bus loop for photos.
Many dished out roses to their school sweethearts before dancing the night away in the hall.
Other chic transport methods including convertible classic cars, a carriage and a carnival float.
