Kewstoke Primary School applied for money from Weston Lions Club’s Go Kids Go! fund so it could brighten up the playground.

The school in Kewstoke Road, Kewstoke, received £300 which has now been used to create different zones on the playground using paint.

The Parents and Teachers Association also raised money for the project.

It means pupils will now have more opportunities to be active while they are outside during break times.

Go Kids Go! provided £12,000 to more than 30 groups helping children get active.
