SHIPHAM First School has been judged as good with some outstanding features following an inspection by schools' watchdog Ofsted.

An ‘outstanding’ rating was given for behaviour and safety and pupils were described as being ‘polite and courteous’.

Headteacher Antonia Gwynn said: “We are absolutely delighted with the report.

“The inspector could see the quality of teaching and care which we work so hard to provide for children.

“Parents, pupils and staff all contribute to make this school community very special and it is wonderful to have that recognised by Ofsted.”
