MARK Primary School pupils have been cultivating their green fingers with the help of some gardening equipment donated by a garden centre.

The school’s outdoor club received the donation from staff at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll, and are now getting stuck into making their new vegetable patch.

Teacher Karen Constable, who runs the outdoor club, said: “All the children are really enjoying being out, starting the new patch.

“The tools will be a real help when we start planting vegetables, and hopefully the children will be able to grow something to take home with them over the summer holidays.”
