CHILDREN, staff, parents and governors joined together to witness the commissioning of a village school’s new headteacher.

Helen Heap has taken over from Angela Bolitho as the headteacher at St Anne’s Primary School in Hewish.

The commissioning ceremony took place at nearby St Andrew’s Church in Congresbury.
