HEALTH-CONSCIOUS children were given a cooking lesson as part of a national scheme to get youngsters to create delicious meals from scratch.
Pupils at Milton Park Primary School learned how to make meals from raw ingredients rather than heating up ready meals.
The scheme is part of television chef Phil Vickery's pledge to get children interested in cooking.
It is sponsored by German retailer Aldi and more information can be found at www.philscookingacademy.co.uk
