STUDENTS welcomed potential fellow pupils and put together a show they performed to a packed audience.

The Partners Project was first developed at Worle Community School 21 years ago and, working with Actiontrack Performance Company, it aims to support the transition process for primary aged children in their next steps to secondary school.

Over a period of four days, groups of 30 year six students from Locking, Herons’ Moor, Becket and Milton Park primary schools worked with years seven and 10 at the Redwing Drive site.

Each day individual schools were responsible for devising, writing and performing their own chapter in the performance about the four seasons.

On the fifth day more than 200 students came together to rehearse and prepare for the evening performance, which was presented to a packed hall of family and friends.
