IT WAS off with their heads at Hugh Sexey Middle School in Blackford, as Henry VIII visited for a Tudor banquet.
The monarch (otherwise known as actor Mike Farley), held court on May 6 with pupils in a variety of colourful period costume, including knights in armour, kings, queens, executioners and even a headless Anne Boleyn.
The Year 5 pupils were told tales about life in the 16th century, entertained with music of the era, and finished off the day with a jousting competition.
