A holiday club at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre has been praised by education watchdog Ofsted for creating a ‘stimulating environment’ for children.
The Camp Adventure holiday club in Weston-super-Mare was inspected in December and the report – rating it as good – has now been released. The club hosts pool and sports activities, gives children the chance to play team games, take dance classes and do arts and crafts.
The inspection report says the team is well led and staff work together to create ‘a stimulating environment for children’.
It added: “The manager, deputy manager and staff are well qualified. They have a wealth of experience of working with children and provide fun activities.
“Staff are positive role models and use effective strategies. Children behave well.”
