Year six children at one village primary school finished the year with a ‘fantastic’ production of Olivia – a twist on Charles Dickens’ classic tale Oliver Twist.

Hutton Primary School’s year six pupils will all move on to secondary schools across the area in September, but they all came together to entertain during the school’s end-of-year play.

Parents, carers, friends and other family were entertained by the schoolchildren during multiple ‘amazing’ performances of Olivia.

Teacher Laura Lovely said: “Year six have been working hard to put together fantastic performances of Olivia which is a spin on Oliver.

“They performed to two packed audiences and everyone was amazed at the singing and acting talent on display.”
