YEAR 11 students from Priory Community School completed their Duke of Edinburgh bronze expedition section by walking and camping in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The youngsters took part in the challenge over the royal wedding weekend and worked well to navigate through the area – walking 1km per hour faster than they planned to.
They even managed to find the world famous ice cream shop in Brecon on the last day, reinforcing their map reading skills.
