The college bought the hotel back in January of this year and work has progressed quickly.

Teaching has now begun in some areas of the building and tutors have moved into some of the offices.

However, there is furniture still to be moved to the site for it to be completely finished.

The £2.8million law building project is accompanied by the ongoing development of the Winter Gardens site.

The academy building is offering courses in law and justice services, finance and accountancy and professional services and the former hotel is set to provide accommodation for around 26 students.

Work is also progressing on the Winter Gardens development, with it set for completion in September 2017.
