Year 11 students at Kings of Wessex Academy, in Cheddar, dazzled at their school prom as they made their way to The Webbington Hotel in a host of flashy and unique ways.

Tractors, tanks, sports cars and American police cars were just some of the ways the young leavers decided to enter their end-of-year prom.

They all looked stunning in their glamorous dresses and smart suits as they made sure their last night all together was one they will never forget.

The teenagers marked the end of their education at the school, in Station Road, by heading to the Loxton hotel for a reception and meal before dancing the night away with their peers.

It was a welcome relief for the students who have been working hard on revising during exam season, for their GCSEs.
