Weston College has today (Wednesday) released new images of the Winter Gardens with the iconic Weston-super-Mare site’s refurbishment now well underway.

The college was officially handed the site by North Somerset Council back in May and since then more details about the development have been revealed and work has begun on-site.

The pavilion is being restored and part of the building is being revamped as a law and professional services academy and a new university centre. As well as this, the ballroom is being refurbished and will remain entirely for public use.

There will also be a sea-view restaurant and a new two-storey bar in place.
The construction company, Midas Group, has now demolished the one-storey extension facing the Italian Gardens and the soft-strip of the building is also progressing well.
