PUPILS at Bournville Primary School have enjoyed an African Zulu dance and music workshop this week from a group who have previously played in front of the Queen and Nelson Mandela.
Kids throughout the school were entertained by the Mighty Zulu Nation show on Tuesday morning before getting an opportunity to play instruments alongside the five-strong group in the afternoon.
The school has set up a link with Khlumshika Combined School in South Africa and pupils have just received letters from their penfriends.
The African theme is set to continue throughout the term with future workshops, while older pupils will give a stage performance of the Lion King in mid-October.
