The King Alfred School will not open today (Monday).
Although the grounds at the Burnham-on-Sea school have been declared safe, a shortage of staff means it has been forced to remain closed.
A message from the school on Facebook says: “The school site is safe but due to staffing shortages we have made the decision to close The King Alfred School today.
“Keep an eye out on our website and social media for a decision on tomorrrow.”
Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas were hit by further snowfall overnight and icy roads are causing difficult driving conditions.
