The Kings of Wessex Academy headteacher said he was proud of students for bringing life to their creations in the annual art and fashion show.

The academy in Cheddar was transformed into a private art gallery to display the GCSE and A-level work on June 20.

The A-level photography students’ creativity was to a very high standard, as was the other work on display.

Students modelled their designs in a fashion show. Year 11 student Jordan Haines (above centre) stole the show with his head-dress.

A year nine band also performed favourite hits such as Valerie made famous by The Zutons and Mark Ronson.

Headteacher Chris Richardson said: “This year’s work is exceptional.”
