PARAMEDIC Trudy Andrews joined pupils at St Peter's School in Portishead to talk about science in her job, as part of the school's science week.

The children tried CPR, were connected to a heart monitor and had a print out of their heart beat.

Bandages were everyone's favourite though. Year three teacher, Lorraine Clarke said: "All the children practised bandaging each other, by the end of the day it looked as though I had a class full of mummies.
