STUDENTS became teachers for the day as they put on a production of a classic 1970s play.

Our Day Out saw year nine youngsters at The Kings Of Wessex Academy in Station Road, Cheddar, dress as students and teachers on a day trip from a Liverpool school to a Welsh castle.

It combines cheeky comedy with the social realities of being a teenager from a difficult background.

Headteacher Chris Richardson said: “This play was a wonderful comedy of fun theatre with feeling.

“A big well done to all our students for their dedication in rehearsals and for such a memorable production.”
