A PARALYMPIC hopeful visited youngsters at a school to raise awareness of sport, the Olympics and Paralympics ahead of London 2012 this summer.
Clare Strange, who is preparing to compete in her fourth consecutive Paralympic Games playing wheelchair basketball, talked to the children at Shipham First School about her experiences.
They also had the chance to try out her wheelchair first hand.
The visit ties in to the Olympics project being run by schools across the area including Draycott, Axbridge, Cheddar and Fairlands which sees each one focus on a particular sport, athlete and continent.
