SIDCOT School’s star horse rider Maisie Warren is helping raise money for a project which helps fund equestion trips for the Winscombe school’s students.

Masie was one of two riders in her age category in the South West to be chosen for the campaign, which promotes young talent and seeks sponsorship from local businesses.

Her riding achievements include winning the championships of Great Britain as part of a show jumping team.

Jane Keep, Sidcot’s equestrian centre manager, said: “Maisie has been training here at Sidcot for six years; she is extremely dedicated and talented. She also helps other children and schools the ponies for the riding school.”
