TWO budding maths stars have reached the top one per cent of mathematicians in the UK junior maths challenge.
Two of Priory Community School’s year eight pupils, Connor Anderson and Adam Maidment (pictured), finished the challenge within the top 5,000 students.
The competition is so popular it attracts more than 600,000 entries from more than 4,000 schools across the nation.
The school’s maths teacher Mel Harding said: “This is an exceptional achievement – a big well done to Adam and Connor.”
