A relaxing outside space has been created at a Worle school, which received £10,000 to complete the work.

Mead Vale Primary School, in Kestrel Road, received the money from the Big Lottery Fund to create a peace garden on its grounds.

The aim was to create a tranquil all-weather area, where children could socialise and grow vegetables and flowers.

The funding was announced in September last year, and the work has now been completed.

Children are now able to enjoy the relaxing environment during their breaks, and even take part in lessons there.
