Work has begun at a North Somerset school to construct a new computer and business centre which will provide what its headteacher describes as ‘quality facilities which are fit for 21st century learning’.

Work began at Churchill Academy this week on the new £1.3million facility, which is funded by a Government grant.

Headteacher Chris Hildrew said: “We’re very excited about this project and look forward to its completion when we’ll be able to offer outstanding accommodation to match our outstanding provision.”

The project is planned to be completed by March 2017.
