Pupils from Milton Park Primary School donned yellow tops, bright hair bands and fancy dress and took part in a number of activities on the day.

The #Hello Yellow campaign is organised by YoungMinds – a charity which is committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of young people.

A school spokesman said: “At Milton Park, we understand that some children face a range of different pressures and these pressures can sometimes feel overwhelming to them which can make them feel lonely at times.

“By wearing yellow trousers, a yellow wig or painting your nails yellow for the day, we are showing we support those people who are struggling with their mental helath and that no child at Milton Park is ever alone.”
