Pupils at a North Somerset primary school jumped back in time to look at key moments in history.

Schoolchildren from Milton Park Primary School, in Weston-super-Mare’s Milton Park Road, took part in a history week, which saw each year learn about a different era.

World War Two, the Stone Age and the Victorian era were among the topics covered, and each year group learned about the food, clothing and lifestyle in their era.

The students were then asked to create their own exhibits to display in the Milton Museum for parents and carers to enjoy.

Co-ordinator Lindsay Bamford said: “The week was a great success, with the children really enthused about learning from each other.

“Parents enjoyed the high quality work and learning about what had taken place.”
