PUPILS and staff at Hugh Sexey Middle School took a break from the classroom one afternoon and organised a mince pie sale to raise money for charity.
Mince pies were made by students and staff and all donations went to The Pahar Trust in Nepal.
The cash will go towards education resources for a special deaf school in the remote mountain region of Taplejung in Nepal.
Claire Sloan who works in the school’s hearing support department and staff member Rebecca Green will be travelling with the trust to Nepal during their Easter break to visit schools.
