CREATIVE pupils who designed a mosaic in memory of a teacher showed their artwork to her niece and former colleagues.
Catherine Griffiths visited youngsters at Windwhistle Primary School on Monday to talk about the mosaic which was crafted in tribute to her aunt, Dot Smart, a teacher at the school in the 1970s.
Mrs Smart’s family gave a generous donation to the school following her death last year which has been used to fund the mosaic.
Year six pupils helped to design the images and children from each class took part in the making of it.
