A LIVELY event was held in Weston to celebrate the work of volunteers and diversity within North Somerset.

Winter Gardens. A celebration of the work of volunteers and the diversity within North Somerset. Transition North Somerset, Mark Bradshaw, Rose Hughes, Jessica Harper and Paula Birtwhistle from Stustainable Weston, Bill Roberts from Transition Long Ashton and Brian Outten from the Green Party.

Food from around the world and several stalls all formed part of the multicultural spectacular at the Winter Gardens in Royal Parade.

Craft activities for children were laid on and many enjoyed various dances and musical performances.
