A WESTON preschool has joined up with a nearby school in a move that will allow it to more than double its intake of youngsters.

From September 3 Funny Bunnies will move to its new home at Milton Park Primary School.

Funny Bunnies successfully beat several other bids to take on the running of the preschool at the school in Milton Park Road.

The group, which was previously housed at All Saints Church Hall in All Saints Road, will be able to increase from 20 youngsters to 48 as a result of the move.

Preschool nursery and owner Karen Gill said: “Previously we could only have morning sessions, but now we are able to extend our hours.

“We can take double the amount of children now, so that’s obviously going to benefit the local community.”

Milton Park headteacher Sara Hedger said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this preschool to our community, we’re really looking forward to working with Funny Bunnies for the benefit of all our children and families.”
