YOUNGSTERS from Portishead have helped put their new school on the map.
Year five and six pupils spent some time with Nigel Lewis from Ordnance Survey who visited Trinity Primary School in the Village Quarter, to update his records and ensure the new building is included on all future maps.
School administrator, Avril Steel said: "It was a great experience for the pupils who were given a copy of a map of the area before the school was built.
"They were then given the opportunity to use the equipment used by Ordnance Survey to insert the school into the correct location on the map to be used for all future maps and records.
"Nigel returned to school the following day with a new map with Trinity School included on it. The children were thrilled.
