YOUNGSTERS and adults alike tried their hand at a variety of different sports, and learnt some healthy cooking tips, at a special event.

The Go4Life event was held at the Hans Price Sports Centre on Saturday as part of the London 2012 open weekend, organised to mark the beginning of the one year countdown to next summer’s Olympic games.

Sports enthusiasts were able to try a range of activities, including tai chi, badminton, zumba, handball and judo.
