AN INFLATABLE planetarium dome provided children from a Portishead school with the opportunity to explore science in an exciting way.
A series of lively, interactive, hands-on science shows were presented inside the Explorer Dome covering topics including light, sound and space.
The dome spent three days at the school to support science lessons.
Year six teacher Lorraine Perry said: "This type of experience is invaluable for the children and helps us to deliver the curriculum in an unusual and exciting way.
"It has been a great success with pupils learning so much from the excellent, varied presentations".
Based in Bristol, Explorer Dome is one of the most successful science outreach companies in UK.
It travels throughout the South West and beyond, with a team of science presenters on board.
