HIGH kicks, gymnastics and pompom shaking were added to the timetable at one primary school just outside of Weston when its children performed an energetic cheer.

St Georges Primary School’s budding cheerleaders strutted their stuff at a show put on for parents before the half-term break.

Children from year three to six showed their excitement in an enthusiastic performance outside of their normal PE lesson during the show on May 19.

The younger students then got a turn to get involved in the entertainment at another performance which took place last Thursday.
