A PRIMARY school has described its new peace garden as a ‘wonderful’ place for children to enjoy.

Pupils in years three and four at Court de Wyck Primary School in Claverham worked alongside Kier Construction to transform what the school described as a ‘tired’ courtyard into a ‘beautiful and peaceful place’.

Children chose the name God’s Secret Garden for the new area.

Religious education teacher Celia Roberts said: “We are very grateful to Jamie and Nigel from Kier for their commitment and hard work in helping us create this special place in the heart of our Church of England school.”
