LOCKING Primary School pupils have been working together to create a healthy school environment.
The school has set up a playground pals system where older students organise activities for younger pupils at break times.
And as well as putting on games, the children also run a smoothie bar selling healthy drinks and home-made snacks.
They then use the money to purchase equipment to help expand the number of activities they can put on.
Headteacher Joanne Jones said the system was working very well and the school had already managed to buy a penalty shoot-out set which has so far proved very popular.
